Nathan Downie is a London based autistic artist. His painting, drawing and photography evolve around imagined surreal landscapes with dramatic skies and dilapidated architecture; scenes
from films, music videos and the music that he listens to. He often listens to his music to connect with an emotional atmosphere, then tries to evoke this in his chosen materials. His work contains
contrasts of light and dark, unsettling references to the past, with strong compositions that talk about the sublime unknowable mysteries of existence.
